I consider my father to be my first commander, watching him serve both at the local outpost and the district level as I grew up. In many ways, Royal Rangers has been a constant throughout my life.
I am the 17th recipient of the Gold Medal of Achievement (GMA), the highest honor awarded to a Ranger. Over the years, I have held various leadership positions in Kentucky, including FCF Scout/Assistant, JLDA (Junior Leadership Development Academy) Coordinator, FCF Vice President, District Training Coordinator, and Deputy District Director.I currently serve as the Congregational Care Pastor and Royal Rangers Director at Church of the Savior in Nicholasville, Ky. I am also enrolled in Global University’s Berean School of the Bible. I am blessed to be married to my wife, Sarah West, and to be the proud father of our energetic and spirited redheaded son, Greyson.
